“This city…it’s lonely, but at least you have the freedom to be alone.”
Amidst a bitter New York City winter, an alien-hunting vigilante desperately searches for a deadly otherworldly monster.
Hot on his tail is an FBI agent looking for answers.
Struggling for belonging in a metropolis of millions, the vigilante finds himself in a battle with the monster, the agent, and his own perception of humanity - for the fate of the city itself.
Preview of Manhattan: Manhunt
Praise for Manhattan: Manhunt
“A hidden gem...I wholeheartedly fell into the layered nature [of the book] as De Palma presents two parallel characters in [the protagonist] and the city of New York itself...Swaby and Albuquerque are both able to capture the subtlety of [the] underlying conflicts and the dynamic action when things get kicked into high gear...a great read, an outstanding action story, and a character study with hidden levels.”
“In distilling the immigrant experience into a heartfelt sci-fi effusion, Enzo shows us what it truly means to be human.”

late bloomer (Sundance Official Selection)
“After reading Manhattan: Manhunt, my first thought was ‘More, please!’ Enzo’s voice and observations elevated this beyond what I expect from a science-fiction/action tale. Please put [a sequel] on my pull list!”

“An impressive debut from De Palma, who crafts a tense, cinematic drama with Albuquerque and Swaby. Part action movie, part psychological thriller, Manhattan: Manhunt is a real page-turner from beginning to end.”

“I loved it…it’s fantastic…it’s about something deeper underneath the obvious story - immigration and leaving home and discovering who you are and what you love. It’s also gorgeous. The artwork made me miss New York. It made my day…I’m in awe.”
